NVIDIA 1660ti Launched - Overview and Pricing

Recently, NVIDIA launched the 1660ti Graphics Card which is targeted towards the budget gaming community, who do not need the performance of the top-tier RTX lineup.
On 22nd February, Nvidia released this new graphics card on their new Turing Architecture, which can be called as the successor to the earlier budget gaming card, the GTX 1060.

Taking 120 watts of power, the NVIDIA 1660ti provides 1.4x power efficiency, making it the one of the best performing GPU on a per watt basis in this mid-range section.

Talking about the specific details, the NVIDIA 1660ti comes with 1,536 Cuda Cores that run on a boost clock speed of 1.77 Ghz and a normal clock speed of 1.5 Ghz. Running on the Turing Architecture, this new card packs 6GB of GDDR6 providing 1.5 times faster performance than the 1060 according to NVIDIA.

The only cons of this new card is the unavailability of Ray Tracing that we find in the RTX series, namely, the RTX 2060, 2070, 2080 and 2080ti.

Coming to the pricing, the NVIDIA 1660ti gives you a taste of the new Turing Architecture at a starting price of around Rs 26000 INR.
